Outward bound during the following spring down the Allegheny to the Ohio River to Marietta, Ohio where the Muskingum River empties into the Ohio. Up the Muskingum to the forks and up White Woman"s River to where it forks to Nursery Island where he plants an orchard. The final section treats of the husbandry of apple tree cultivation and everything pertaining to apples.
